Dr. Nina Waldron joined Plano Animal Hospital in 2025 as a veterinarian and medical director. A Chicago-area native, she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Her professional background includes experience in general practice, urgent care, and emergency medicine. Dr. Waldron enjoys providing preventive care, conducting detailed diagnostic evaluations, performing surgery, and collaborating with her veterinary team to develop care plans tailored to each patient. She is also a Fear Free Certified Professional and incorporates Fear Free techniques to help make veterinary visits calmer and less stressful for pets.
